A painting is more than an image set down on canvas, it's an object that hopefully makes a beautiful addition to the home. To that end, a frame should be more than an afterthought. Rather it should reference the subject matter however possible and compliment the pallette of the painting, thus greatly enhancing the viewing experience
How it's made
Welcome to my studio
Thank you for visiting the studio page of my site. My studio is located in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard, the picture shown at left was taken from my window, which overlooks an operational drydock. In the distance is the Williamsburg Bridge, spanning the East River to Manhattan. The Empire State Building is visable just to the right of the crane.
The space consists of two rooms: the painting studio, and the workshop. Between them, I go from raw canvas to framed painting
